The article explores the current state, ecological conditions, and landscape structure of the automobile roadsides in the Republic of Karakalpakstan. It analyzes the impact of natural and anthropogenic factors on roadside landscapes, particularly in arid and semi-arid zones of the region. Attention is given to vegetation types, soil composition, and the influence of transportation infrastructure on ecological balance. The paper also provides recommendations for sustainable roadside management practices in Karakalpakstan based on geographical zoning and landscape classification
